These were recovered from an old house in Florida. The pair is described to the best of my ability. I will send more photos if needed. They have really old paint, each one has double arms ; made of metal with a scroll design, the spikes are attached to wood with little metal cups around them; the back panels are a thin metal cut out with a foliage design, that measures approximately 10.25″ x 10.25″; the arms are approximately 10″ apart, 8″w, 9h. Can be restored to your liking.

They are in great condition for their age, and have a very heavy patina and some green. The candleholders swing freely or can be tightened to hold in place. I’m not sure but I believe these also once swiveled where stem attaches to wall plate or base. It seems to be rusted inside where the nut and bolt are not brass. It didn’t show in the picture but I can see the rusty nut from the inside of base. Again I’m not sure if they were supposed to swivel twice like an actual gimbal but it looks like it could with a little rust remover added. Measurements when wall mounted with candlestick upward, 9″ (23cm) long, candleholder 5.5″ (14cm) tall, and the diameter of the wall plate is 4.75 (12cm).

Antique Hanging Wall Candle Box, Mirror, Match Holders , With Decorative Carved Wood, Folk Art. This tall hand made wooden hanging wall candle box is skillfully hand carved cutouts. Has a large shelf pocket on bottom to store candles at base. Has a central mirror with two small wooden match holders on either side of mirror. Americana Folk Art at its best circa 1880′s or earlier. I believe this wallbox is made of walnut. It would be great to be part of display items for your primitive/early Americana home decoration. Mirror measures 9-1/2″ x 7-1/4″. Presented in as found condition, I have not cleaned or altered. This wall box is in great antique condition, nice patina, with no splits or chips in wood, with age appropriate wear and authentic wear marks throughout and use that is expected with age. Mirror has no silver loss and I believe may have been replaced, not sure. Our antiques are collectible and are not new and not reproductions, and have lived a long and eventful life and sometimes developing flaws. Therefore, use and wear should be expected with these items, unless stated in description. We do not clean or alter unless stated in listing, and most times have been in storage for many decades picking up old age storage oxidation spots. Gorgeous Pair Antique Candle Holders Wall Sconces Rusty & Ornate. This set has great patina which does include paint wear and rust on both of them. They are a heavy iron and the back plates depict an old antique skeleton key lock panel as shown. They are marked on the back. 78 inscribed, has some old newspaper stuck on the back as seen. There is some light candle residue still sitting in the holders but nothing major. Each candle holder measures 12 in long by 3.5 in wide in the center which would be the widest area. There is a pre-drilled hole on the top and the bottom and on both sides of the keyhole. If you have any questions please ask.
