The candle holder cups is screw off for cleaning. Works great as a solitaire, as well as in pairs, perhaps with a French gold mirror, or a portrait between them. Dimensions: 23″ x 13″ x 6.5. This is an Antique Tin Primitive Country Wall Sconce Candle Holder in old finish removed from a 19Th Century house in Connecticut. This is an antique wall sconce hand-made tin construction. It’s been converted to electric. But that was removed. Overall good condition with minor tarnish as photographed. Wear consistent with age and use. Please See all photos. Antique original, as found. This wall sconce is more rare than most you see. Heavy weight hammered metal with handmade unique design is so interesting. Hallmarks from Germany are noticeable on the back. Our last 4 photos show (if you can enlarge and look closely) those marks quite clearly. They appear to say the word Germany or parts of that word. We tried to make sure those marks were centered in those 4 photos so they were easy to find. This interesting and rare antique will look great hanging on a wall in any room and lend the ambience of days long ago. Up for sale is a wonderful antique ornate wall mount mirror candle holder sconce. It features ornate open worked detailing and a detailed outward facing dolphin pediment. The rectangular mirror has a lovely beveled edge and the elaborate candle holder arms hold dual candles. It is in great condition and measures 22 1/2 inches long by 8 inches wide and sits 3 inches from the wall.
Gorgeous Pair Antique Candle Holders Wall Sconces Rusty & Ornate. This set has great patina which does include paint wear and rust on both of them. They are a heavy iron and the back plates depict an old antique skeleton key lock panel as shown. They are marked on the back. 78 inscribed, has some old newspaper stuck on the back as seen. There is some light candle residue still sitting in the holders but nothing major. Each candle holder measures 12 in long by 3.5 in wide in the center which would be the widest area. There is a pre-drilled hole on the top and the bottom and on both sides of the keyhole. If you have any questions please ask.
Pair of antique wall candle holders/sconces bow/ribbon and leaves. Bronze looking, but not sure what type of metal. They have holes drilled for wires if you want to make them into electrified sconces, or can be hung and used as candle holders. One arm is loose when you move it around but stays in place just fine… May need to be tightened up but not necessary.
