Vintage Brass & Crystal Prisms French Style Candle Holder Wall Sconce Pretty

PLEASE VIEW ALL (11) PICTURES POSTED TO THE LISTING. PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE SOME PICTURES TAKEN WITH THE CAMERA FLASH ON, AND SOME WITH THE FLASH OFF. This listing is for a Vintage French Style candle holder wall sconce. It is all Brass with crystal prisms hanging from it. It measures 23 long from the brass top to the brass base. It measures 26 long from the brass top to the base of the bottom hanging crystal. It measures 14 1/2 wide. There are approx (32) crystals. It has (5) candle holder spots. There are (5) thin arms at the very top with (3) thin arms under them. There are correct matched different shaped prisms hanging from these arms. There are (2) larger arms with the candle cup. Under these are (3) larger arms with candle cups. A few of these arm are adjustable. The others are stationary. There are correct matched prisms hanging from these arms. All of the prisms as stated are matched and of different shapes and sizes. More or less the prisms are matched on each side. The very front prism which is teardrop is supposed to have the flower prism at the top of it, but it is missing. There are no other prisms missing on this sconce. The candle holder cups have some gold discoloration almost like rust, but there is nothing through to the outside. The brass could use a cleaning and there is some blue / green under the larger arms with the candle cups, and on the front of (1) of the candle cups. There may be smaller spots of green / blue but nothing major. This is truly a beautiful piece. Its cast brass frame is decorated with Roccoco scrolls and is surmounted with a beautiful maidens face mask and has a further face mask at its base, in the form of a Baccus type God. French Empire 19th-C Gilt Bronze Wall Sconce After Claude Galle Electrified Dore

ITEM: French Empire Bronze Dore Candle Sconce – A Versailles Design. CREATOR: Claude Gallé, or closely after. DETAILS: Amazing true antique gilt bronze wall light candle sconce. Design incorporates a lion and the head of Diana in a sun roundel, mounted on a central arrow. Very similar to those Gallé made for the Grand Trianon salon at Versailles. This single sconce is period 19th century, made with incredible artistry, and stamped with several interesting marks. Electrified for four bulbs. PLACE OF ORIGIN: France. MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES: Gilt-finished bronze, added electrical. MARKS: See marks shown in photos, “C” or superimposed “CG, ” also “1781, “Made in France (English may indicate made for export).
