Antique Wall Sconce with 2 Candlestick Holders for Taper size Candles. Unique and Very Very Nice Piece! Americana at it’s finest.. A real statement piece. Heavy BRASS at approximately 8lb 7 oz. American Eagle has a ring in its beak and note there are dark colored aged brass chains that attach to the 2 lower eagle heads. Unmarked – hardware on the back to attach to the wall. 29″ Tall – 14″ Wide Across and about 6.5 depth from the back to the edge of the candle holder. Preowned – Some aged discolor and tarnish.. They are marked Jensen of Copenhagen. I do not believe this company was associated with Georg Jensen designs. These have a very cool gothic mid century aesthetic. Add a touch of elegance to your boat or home with these beautiful antique Candle Sconces. Crafted with brass material, these candle sconces create a warm and inviting ambiance to any room. They are in great condition for their age, and have a very heavy patina and some green. The candleholders swing freely or can be tightened to hold in place. I’m not sure but I believe these also once swiveled where stem attaches to wall plate or base. It seems to be rusted inside where the nut and bolt are not brass. It didn’t show in the picture but I can see the rusty nut from the inside of base. Again I’m not sure if they were supposed to swivel twice like an actual gimbal but it looks like it could with a little rust remover added. Measurements when wall mounted with candlestick upward, 9″ (23cm) long, candleholder 5.5″ (14cm) tall, and the diameter of the wall plate is 4.75 (12cm).
