Comes from an immaculately clean nonsmoking home. In very good condition. Well-kept glass looks great with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Colonial Williamsburg Restoration reproductions of the S-curved single arm Bruton Hurricane Sconces by Virginia Metalcrafters. So elegant and classically Williamsburg they are almost identical in form to the Williamsburg sconces made by Baldwin. Polished brass is in vintage condition with typical wear from use and age. The original thick and heavy mouth blown hurricanes are in excellent condition. They show a few air bubbles, waves, and retain their brass collars. The sconce brackets have the original open drilled areas that allow these sconces to be converted to electric lamps. The sconces with hurricanes in place measure 13 1/2″ tall, backplate diameter of 2 3/4″ wide and project approximately 9 1/2 from the wall. The hurricanes measure 10 1/2″ tall x approximately 6 1/2″ top opening. Due to the glass being hand blown, expect slight variations in thickness, width, shoulders, and height.
