Up for sale is a wonderful pair of antique Empire style gilt brass candle holder wall sconces. They are done with very ornate detailing throughout, are elaborately cast, and are dual Armes sconces. They have a shiny gold finish and made of thick brass. Both in nice used condition and each measures 16 3/4 inches long by 8 inches wide and sits 5 1/4 inches from the wall. Vintage Set of 2 Williamsburg Restoration Brass Wall Sconce Candle Holders CW16-3 VMC. This lovely set of 2 Williamsburg Restoration brass wall candle sconces was found at an estate sale. They are made of solid brass and each have two parts. The candle and drip part section can be lifted up and moved to the side so it is farther against the wall when not in use. They have a design at the top which resembles two snakes. Each wall sconce measures approximately 10.61″ long x 4.11″ wide x 10.26 deep. The candle holder measures approximately. 77 on the inside diameter. The candle wax drip holder measures approximately 3.42 in diameter. They are marked on the bottom CW16-3 VMC and have the Williamsburg Virginia hallmark. Please note that there is some vintage wear which includes some surface scratches, some dark places (tarnish/patina), and there may be some candle wax in the holders. I have not cleaned them to preserve their vintage state. They are still in great vintage condition and very beautiful and would look so nice in your home! Please note that most of my items come from estate sales and could need cleaning and since they are vintage some wear is normal. Up for sale is a nice quality 19th century antique gilt bronze candle holder sconce/picture frame. This two armed fixture is made of a gold gilded bronze, is backed with lead, and has acquired a lovely patina from age. The center of the backplate has a wonderful dual picture frame that holds an antique tintype portrait of a 19th century couple. The sconce also has two outward facing serpents at the top. Wall Sconce candle holder candelabra. This looks like Gold Gilt Bronze and it is very heavy and ornate. The woman Figural is stunning, lots of detail and looks victorian era. This has 2 arms for taper candles and it also has 6 holes for hanging chandelier crystals off each of the candle holder, plus 2 more holes along each arm- for a total of 16 holes for hanging crystals in to bling this up. Measures 12.5″ and the arms are 11.5″ wide total width. This is in great condition for its age, beautiful and shiny with very little age patina around where the arms attach to the back plate. It has hole for hanging with nails/screws but you will need to supply a few brass nails. A rare late 19th century Victorian mirrored brass wall mounted candle/fairy light holder comprising. An ornate brass diamond shaped wall hanging candle/fairy lamp holder with small round mirror to the centre with ring bracket below in which sits. A pink Nailsea type glass candle/fairy light holder with ruffled rim. The mirror is a modern replacement and the two fixings on ring bracket also look to be modern replacements – otherwise everything else is original. The diamond shaped brass wall hanging back plaque measures 13.5″ (34.25 cms) x 13.5″ (34.25 cms). I have a number of other antiques and collectors items. Apart from the modern replacements (mentioned above), everything else is in good original condition with no damage. There is some slight loss of glaze to the base rim of the cream ware lamp cup (shown), otherwise good condition. The pictures give a fair representation of condition. Nevertheless a rare lamp which would be a perfect addition to a themed collection. Please view the other collectors items I have for sale. I pack to a high standard using bubble wrap, loose fill and polystyrene to prevent damage and disappointment and obtain a certificate of posting for each item when posted.
