Pair Vintage Solid Heavy Brass Cherub Candle Stick Holder Wall Sconces Italian. This is a stunning pair of vintage very heavy solid brass wall mount candle stick holder sconces. They are made in Italy, newer pieces but very nice quality pieces. Made from very thick heavy brass and is solid with a wonderful lacquer/polished finish. They are extremely ornate with intricate detailing depicting a cherub on each holding a single candle holder. The candle holder and drip plate are very ornate with stylized floral detailing. The cherubs have one foot on the wall bracket and the other on a nicely curved decorative piece on the bottom which is also equally as ornate as the rest of the piece. The backplate is very detailed and done in high relief. They are both in great shape and each measures 11 1/2 inches up ad down by 4 1/4 inches wide and sits 5 1/8 inches from the wall. Pair of solid brass wall mount candles sconces by Baldwin Brass. Holds regular taper candles, but if you wish to convert to electricity they were made to be easily converted. Mounts on hangs on wall with back mounting bracket that attaches to a standard electrical box. The arm is already hollow all the way from the candle cup to the back. Just need to add the chandelier electric socket with the white faux candle cylinder and they are ready for to be connected to your power source. They can be used as is for regular candles. Measures 11″ high – 3.25″ wide – 5.5 deep or protrudes whichever you prefer. Rectangular form with a cabinet style profile, single candle cup on a scroll arm. TWO BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE / VINTAGE HEAVY BRASS / GILT WALL CANDLE SCONCES / HOLDERS / CANDLESTICKS. These two beautiful candle sconces are made from heavy solid brass with an antiqued gilt finish. They are of excellent quality and have some age, although I have been unable to date them accurately. They are of an elaborate French or Italian style. Elaborately embossed wall plates with scrolled lines, fruits and foliage, and deeply scalloped edges. The impressive candle sticks / holders have similarly embossed decorations. There is an integral hanging bracket on reverse, which allows fixing with a single screw. Approximate size of each: 24 cms high (9.5″) x 14 cms wide (5.5″). Projection from wall: 13 cms (5). Each wall sconce weighs around 1.2 kg. Please have a look at my other items. The pair is done with very ornate detailing throughout and displays wonderfully. They mount flush to the wall and both in great condition.
