Recent Southern Virginia estate find. An absolutely beautiful and extremely scarce pair of early Harvin Brass five arm wall sconces. Virginia Metalcrafters acquired Harvin in the mid 1950′s specifically for their patent inventory of various designs. Several Harvin designs were incorporated into Virginia Metalcrafters’ catalog; however, we can not find any examples of these pieces created by. Each sconce has five arms with the candle holders tapered in height. The maximum measurements are 11″ in total height, 13″ wide and extension from the wall to approximately 12. Overall excellent condition with no damage related issues. Each carries a very nice antiqued finish and we estimate that these pieces date from the early 1900′s to approximately 1920. Extremely difficult to find these pieces; especially a matching pair. Please review all pictures for design, dimensions and condition. Photos do contain measurements.
