Up for sale is this antique pair of American carved wood sconces. They are at least 100 years old as stated from an appraiser at the Antiques Roadshow. She said that they were wonderfully carved and even with a repair that has been done and a missing tassel were valued at the least 2,000 for the pair. They measure 25″ tall x 11″ wide x 7 1/2 deep and have gilt on the eagle and other areas. The only metal part is the bracket that holds the 2 wood holders. They are wonderful sconces and come from a wealthy Connecticut estate.
