Both candlesticks are in good condition with some light signs of wear. The candlesticks have a stylised design and are decorated with blue glazes. The backs have an incorporated groove so that they can easily be wall hung. They are both clearly signed to the back and retain their original’Soholm Dansk Design’ stickers to the front. They are good quality Danish wall candlesticks. If you would like to collect in person, cash on collection is fine. A rare pair of antique French piano candle holders. They are ornate bronze (or brass) double holders. They are c1890 and are signed’L Pinet’ (see below). They are in excellent undamaged condition. They’ve been prepared for conversion to electricity. Holes have been drilled in the candle holder / plate. But they have no wiring or electrical fittings. The back plates are 4.5″ x 2.2″ (11.5 cm x 5.5 cm). The candle holders stand 6 high (15 cm). The arms pivot out from the center to the sides. They are 16 wide when arms extended (40.5 cm). They stand 4 off the wall with arms extended (10cm). When facing forward, they’re 8.5 off the wall (21.5cm). They have a gorgeous, warm-gold aged patina.
