This beautiful pair of antique candle sconces were painstakingly crafted in the 1920′s and were cast in a beautiful golden brass. The ornate metalwork frames an oval mirror with beveled edges. Each sconce features two arms that buttress tapered candle holders. These ornate works of art are a must have for vintage decor enthusiasts, as well as lovers of art and design from the Art Nouveau & Art Deco eras. These sconces are also excellent for anyone looking to easily & quickly elevate the sophistication and elegance of their space. The pair are in excellent condition, and the mirrors are flawless; overall, the pieces are in great shape, especially when considering their age! There are no cracks, no chips, and no dents. Rococo/Louis-XV/Regency Antique 3-Arm Brass/Bronze Acanthus Pair Wall Sconces. There are no markings on the back of the sconces. All I know is that they are certainly vintage, possibly antique. I have taken pictures from all possible angles, sides, top, bottom. The last photograph was taken at the home where these sconces were found, above the living room fireplace (at Christmas time). The arms of the sconces are movable. They are attached with bolts that can be loosed/fastened with a medium size Allen wrench. See picture of the bolts. There is no rust or blemish I can find. They have a beautiful gold/bronze patina. The sconces are solid brass and very heavy – 92.4 oz (5.77 lbs) each. Size: 16-1/2″ high, 13″ wide. I will loosen the arms just a little for packing purposes and cushion the sconces all around with bubble wrap. The entire package will be at least 14 lbs and approximately 20 x 18″ in length and width and 10″ high (maybe larger). I have included a “make offer” opportunity. I have a wonderful wall sconce candle holder available. Measures approximately 16 tall. Has a place on the back for hanging on the wall. I have a matching one available in a separate listing. I’m not sure if the age of these but I have owned them for about 25 years.
