This is a pair of very large and impressive wall mounting candle sconces. Manufactured from thick and solid cast, welded and worked alloy. These sconces date to around the early 1990s but have a design heavily influenced by the Art Deco period. The sconces have a heavy alloy welded construction with a curved arm holding a large church candle cup. The backs are shell shaped and are deeply cast providing a good background for the candle light. At the back the sconces have a heavy mounting plate with a key hole hanging slot. Please see my images for the best description. Salvaged from a restaurant refurbishment, originally used in a covered outside application. These sconces have various signs of life including scratches and tarnish but have no damage. They have been lightly polished and have an attractive antiqued look. Again please refer to my images for the best description. Note – Candles are not included. Height is 59.5 Cm x 30 Cm Wide x 17.5 Cm off the wall. The candle cups are 7.8 Cm Inside diameter.
