A rare pair of antique French piano candle holders. They are ornate bronze (or brass) double holders. They are c1890 and are signed’L Pinet’ (see below). They are in excellent undamaged condition. They’ve been prepared for conversion to electricity. Holes have been drilled in the candle holder / plate. But they have no wiring or electrical fittings. The back plates are 4.5″ x 2.2″ (11.5 cm x 5.5 cm). The candle holders stand 6 high (15 cm). The arms pivot out from the center to the sides. They are 16 wide when arms extended (40.5 cm). They stand 4 off the wall with arms extended (10cm). When facing forward, they’re 8.5 off the wall (21.5cm). They have a gorgeous, warm-gold aged patina.
