Very pleased to offer for sale this exquisite pair of two (2) candle-holding, hand-carved wood wall sconces with the following fine features. Made likely of fruitwood or another dark wood indigenous to the Caribbean region. Expertly carved women with traditional headdress at the base with a hand-carved crouching woman figure on the stem adorned with round hanging finial. Beautiful details and figural motifs throughout. Measures 19.5″ tall x 4″ wide x 4 deep and each weighs approximately 1 pound, 3 ounces. In excellent condition, with a few cracks in the wood indicative of normal age and use.
