Mid-century vintage Spanish Revival / Brutalist style wall sconce triple candle holder. Measures roughly 36cm tall, 32cm wide and 16cm deep. (14.17″ x 12.6″ x 6.3) and weighs about 3lbs 8oz. Likely dates to the 1950s. Hand carved black wood backboard with cast, bronze painted metal and accented with lightweight black metal chain and square headed nails. Each arm has a carved wood candle base (7cm) with a metal spike to hold the candle in place. In beautiful vintage condition, sturdy and functional. Small hanger on the reverse for wall hanging. It was found with about 15 items that are of the same subject. Obviously someone’s lifelong collection. Some looks like good recreations while other seem very old and authentic. I wish I knew more and could tell you what it’s made of. I will do my best to give you as much information as Possible and I’ll answer any questions for you. This item is 12″ wide about 17.5 high and about 5″ deep. It is about 3.5 lbs. This one looks much more authentic. It is bent in on the candle holder part. The candle holder is a bit wiggly on the shield. There seems to be some oil over some parts of it. There is some texture of something on the shield behind the candle holder part.
