Pair of stunning solid brass wall sconces. Exceptionally high quality by VMC – Virginia Metalcrafters – Stamped – Made in 2007 (one of their last pieces). Feature pineapple motive – the symbol of hospitality – and ribbons. Style – Tall torch with pineapple flame with ribbons. Cutout hurricane holder with acorn finial. Pair of etched glass hurricane shades included. Measure 21.25″ tall x 7″ wide by 5 deep – each weighs 3 lb. Not including the glass hurricane. Etched glass hurricanes have grapes and vine design – measure 7″ tall x 4″ top opening diameter. Excellent like new condition – I will polish them up before mailing them out. Originally founded 1890, the brass business dated from 1938. They cast much of the brass stock for Colonial Williamsburg. They ceased trading in 2007 and the license is now with Sedgefield.
