Probably originally for gas, these could be converted for electricity or used. As they are for candles. Excellent colour and wonderful castings. APPROXIMATELY 40CM WID E BY 50CM TALL. Pair Vintage Hand Carved Wood Wall Cherub Putto Boy 12 Sconce Candle Holders. This is a very nice pair of vintage hand carved wood wall candle holders shaped like cherub putto boys. They measure about 12 tall. The darker one is in very good condition. The lighter one has some damage – one foot has been broken off and reglued, is missing a toe, the bottom of the sconce is missing a piece, and the candle spike is a bit dull and looks broken off at the tip. Both have some candle wax remnants at the candle spikes. Both have wire hangers on the back side.
