BLACK FOREST CARVED TIGER OAK WOOD WALL HUNG MIRROR TOWEL BAR CANDLE HOLDER. Up for your consideration is this really nice antique wood framed wall hung mirror. This is a solid wood piece in excellent condition made out of tiger oak wood. The 7-1/4″ x 9-1/4″ mirror has a decorative candle holder on each side with a planter and towel bar underneath. There are also two 2″ x 10″ panels on each side of the mirror that have a small step in the back which would allow you to customize it with your own stained glass or mirror. A nice customizable antique decorative piece that would look great in any home. Please be sure to see the other items we have listed. FEATURES: True antique hand made solid tiger oak wood framed wall hanging mirror with 2 candle holders, a planter box, and towel or embroidery bar. INCLUDED: The actual wall hung wood framed mirror pictured. NOT-INCLUDED: No original box, packaging or paperwork. No props used for size reference. ON THE BACK: There are 2 eye screws and metal hanging wire. SIZE:The overall size is 17-1/4″ wide x 25-3/8″ tall x 3-1/2 front to back. The surface of the mirror is 7-1/4″ wide x 9-1/4″ tall. The opening to either side of the mirror is 1-5/8″ wide x 10-1/8″ tall. The candle holder will accept 3/4 candles. The planter box is 8-1/2″ wide x 1-1/2″ deep front to back. The towel bar is 8-1/2 wide. COLOR: medium brown tone finish, REALLY nice wood grain and color. TYPE: wall hanging wood framed mirror. CIRCA: Likely around the 1920′s or 1930′s. MATERIAL: Wood frame and mirror. CONDITION: It comes to you in overall excellent condition. The piece is nice and solid and the finish looks great. The only mentionables would be that the decorative leaf over the right window pane has broken the top tip off and the center decorative section has a small piece broken off just to the right of the center top. Both of these breaks happened many decades ago. The mirror was recently remounted with a silicone bead around the back to hold it solidly in place. A tiny bit of the gold finish has chipped off the inner edge of the mirror border in the lower right hand corner and a coupe smaller chips in the left hand side of the mirror border. Aside from that this is a solid awesome well built piece. AUTHENTICITY and your SATISFACTION are UNCONDITIONALLY 100% GUARANTEED!!! You really like the thing, but not so much the price.. I find cool stuff, do some research and list it for what I think it’s worth. Sounds pretty simple but sometimes not. First quality, suitable for a gift. Upon close inspection some very minor signs of use or wear, but no serious flaws. Obviously used but kept in great conditional and well cared for. Expected normal signs of wear but no abuse. Clearly used allot, enough to cause significant signs of wear. See item description for more details on further future use.
