For your consideration is this great midcentury electrified floral gilt wall sconce. I believe this piece was made in Italy but can’t find a makers mark on the piece. It is consistent in style and materials from other pieces from that time. Measures about 28 inches wide! This is really a great piece with great style. Perfect match with the pair of wheat wall sconces I currently have it listed as well. They all came out of the same estate. Together they really make a statement! TWO BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE / VINTAGE HEAVY BRASS / GILT WALL CANDLE SCONCES / HOLDERS / CANDLESTICKS. These two beautiful candle sconces are made from heavy solid brass with an antiqued gilt finish. They are of excellent quality and have some age, although I have been unable to date them accurately. They are of an elaborate French or Italian style. Elaborately embossed wall plates with scrolled lines, fruits and foliage, and deeply scalloped edges. The impressive candle sticks / holders have similarly embossed decorations. There is an integral hanging bracket on reverse, which allows fixing with a single screw. Approximate size of each: 24 cms high (9.5″) x 14 cms wide (5.5″). Projection from wall: 13 cms (5). Each wall sconce weighs around 1.2 kg. Please have a look at my other items. Beautiful and a harder to find design of Italian gilt toleware wall candelabras. The typical variety is of Ivy, but here we have the Asian influence popular during the Aesthetic Movement of the late 19th century called Japonism. This design is of cherry blossom primus in bloom. Shows wear consistent with age, but all intact. The candle holders themselves are a bit loose and need secured from wobbling. Has two attached rings on rear for hanging (shown). This is an old antique very elaborate large gold gilt metal wall light candle sconce from a beautiful Victorian home that was decorated mostly in French. It is 18″ by 13″ and 7 1/2 deep with beautiful leaves and hanging tear shaped crystal prisms. One prism is not present. These are a common prism so would be easy to replace. The five back side lower center section leaves do have a hole for prisms but I think done were ever there as there is no space for them to hang. This is very ornate and pretty in person. This is a wonderful Gold gilt Candelabra wall sconce. It is made out of metal with sculpted leaves and the flowers are made out of Cut glass or crystal prisms. The sconce is in wonderful vintage condition and it is 16T x 14.5w x 7d off the wall. It holds up to 3 candles and each are 1-1/8dia. It’s done with very intricate detailing throughout and holds 5 candles at different lengths. The piece is in wonderful condition and measures 14 1/2 inches wide by 12 inches back to front by 11 inches long. Which will be a charge of 7% due to New Jersey state law. Up for sale is a pair of nice quality antique 19th century Victorian candle holder wall sconces. They are made out of thick bronze, are heavy sconces, and have a lovely gold gilded finish. Each is a three arm sconce with very ornate detailing throughout. The mounting canopies are also very ornate and have bronze mounting brackets that slide onto the arm in the backside. The set each measures 16 inches long by 6 inches up and down and sits 9 1/4 inches from the wall. One has a weld repair to one arm as shown in last photo but is very sturdy.
