This is a large antique ornate Victorian gilt bronze wall candle holder fixture. It is made from thick gold gilded bronze, has acquired a wonderful patina from age. It’s done with very intricate detailing throughout and holds 5 candles at different lengths. The piece is in wonderful condition and measures 14 1/2 inches wide by 12 inches back to front by 11 inches long. Which will be a charge of 7% due to New Jersey state law. Please make sure to look at all pictures very closely before purchasing, as most pieces in my shop are non refundable. Most items are antique or vintage and could have usual ware from age. Have nothing in your houses that you do not consider to be beautiful or useful. Pair Large Antique French Bronze Rococo Wall Sconces/ Candle Holders. Dating from the 1880s, they are in gold colored solid bronze and are very heavy each one weighs 5 lbs. At one point, a hole was drilled in each of the top cups with the idea of electrifying them. They each measure about 17 ¼ inches high from the bottom to the top of the highest cup and measure about 14 inches at their widest points on the sides. The candle drip holders are blackish – as they were found in the manor house. These wall sconces/candle holders are very classical, very elegant and look stunning in a period home. Please read before purchasing. Vintage and antique objects have lived and been used and because of that, they sometimes show it. The condition of the object is described as accurately as possible, including its character flaws. But that is really part of the attraction and enjoyment of an old piece. Please verify the package upon receipt and inform the postal authorities of any damage. The item must be sent back in the same condition and in the same packaging.
