Vintage ART DECO Magnifying Glass Candle Brass Fluted Wall Sconce Torch. Condition – see photos – there is some tarnish in the candle holder area. Glass has no chips, cracks, or breaks. Measures: 14″ long – Glass Magnifier is about 6″ wide and the sconce that attaches to the wall is roughly 4 wide.
Thank you for the interest in this item. Pair of Two 2 Old Vintage French Style Mirrored Brass Wall Candle Sconces Set. This is a nice pair of two cast metal mirrored wall candle sconces. The sconces are made of brass metal with a mirrored portion on each sconce. The sconces each have two arms to hold candles and a few remaining prisms (see photos). The items have a nice French style (see photos). The sconces have a nice look and style. Each arm is adjustable by loosening and tightening screws on the back. Each sconce measures in total about 22 inches high, each is about 6.75 inches wide from side to side and each is about 4.5 inches from the front side to the back side. The sconces were made in Japan. The items have some wear and they do not have all of the prisms (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item). This is a set of 2 large brass wall sconces (quite heavy – see below). It seems something might have originally been placed in the circle, since it is a brighter gold color but these can fit a pillar candle. READ DESCRIPTION to follow.. Fairly good condition with some wear in the form of. Oxidation of brass in areas. Some variation in straightness of brass in spots (not squared nor a perfect shape). Pair of vintage wall sconce candle holders with beveled mirrors in the neo-classical style of Louis XVI. They are made of cast brass and marked Glo-Mar Artworks Inc NY on the back. They are 23″ at the longest point and 11.5″ wide at the candle holders. The beveled mirrors are approximately 7.5″ x 4.75″ with the original velvet-like backing. The mirrors are spotless–no staining or scratches. No wax on the candle holders themselves. The brass is in great shape. The bottom finial piece and mirrors have screws holding them on. There are also holes on each of the four bobèches. Collar on the candle socket to catch drippings. For hanging crystals or prisms. The original crystals/prisms are missing. But could be duplicated. This is a very nice set of sconces in very good condition. Please see the pictures for more details.
