Design Toscano sculptural pair of vintage wall sconces are hand-held candle holder torches. They project out from the wall about 13.5 inches & are about 23″ tall and 5.5″ wide. They seem to be made from plaster-like material, sturdy & not lightweight. The torchieres are separate, so the hands could hold other items for various themes.
