Its cast brass frame is decorated with Roccoco scrolls and is surmounted with a beautiful maidens face mask and has a further face mask at its base, in the form of a Baccus type God. It is finished with gilt and measures 15 1/2″ or 39.5 cm high x 10 1/4″ or 26 cm wide x 6 1/8 or 15.5 cm deep. It dates to about 1900 and is in good condition, as shown in photo’s.
