Before his passing in November, Mr. Williams was the oldest living Academy Award winner. He was the Oscar winner in 1952 for the movie High Noon, featuring Gary Cooper and Grace Kelly. We are offering this item and many others from his fabulous estate. Pair of beautiful wood carved goddess statues dating from late 19th century. Each is slightly different than the other and finely detailed. Each has a circular platform upon their head where a candle or whatever you wish could be place. Also, each is fitted with a loop at back allowing them to be hung. Both are in excellent condition for age, but one has a hairline crack in wood from head to toe. Still she is in solid condition, the crack does not pierce through completely. Each measures 23″ tall x 6″ and weighs close to 7 pounds.
