This a very rare Candlestick cum Wall Sconce and is signed C. F Made In Italy see pic below. The Candlestick measures 30cm height; 11.5cm base dia 2.6cm stem dia; 5.5cm cup dia. To turn this candlestick into a Wall Sconce first pull out the cup attached to an inner stem, then bend the outer stem from the hinged portion of the stem, reinsert the cupped inner stem into the main stem see also the pictures shown above for more details. This Candlestick is from 1900s or earlier and shows good sign of use, the spring loaded mechanism does not seem to work properly and there dents and dings to the base. The candlestick also has a slight tilt to it. Nevertheless this is once in a rare occasion find. Do not make this a missed opportunity. Queries: Please dont hesitate to ask us any questions.
