Both arms stretched out to hold candle holders – takes 1 pair taper candle. Sitting on a wood finished log with his feet dangling and his tail showing in the back. The hanger is attached to the log in back- see pictures. Finish is in great bright condition, with hand glazing, the is some rub marks on hanger, and back side of log, but none take away from his character. FOX w RED COAT over a GOLD vest with hand painted black buttons and tie, cuffs w gold trim. Hand painted with Brown fur color. 14 1/2″ high x 16 1/2″ wide x 6 extended. Weighs about 8 lbs. Attached wire hanger on back. Marked HUEBBE, 1995 on backside coat/neck- a Folk artist from NY. Whimsical conversation piece, perfect for the fox hunt decor. Bronze Acanthus Leaf Coat of Arms Candle Holder Single Wall Sconce. Sconce features a shield form back plate with lion and coat of arm castings. This sconce is not eletcrified and looks to have originally been a gas fixture. There are 2 small screw holes at the top as pictured in image #15 below which shows that there may have been an additional crest at some point that is no longer attached.
