Offered for your consideration this magnificent large matching pair of Chelsea House Chinese Chippendale gold leaf wall candle sconces. Gold leaf application over most of the body of pieces with chocolate brown paint for accent colors. Pagoda tops and leafy vegetation with columns next to the mirror. C-curves and scrolls with round circles for pathways. Gold scrolling metal arms with leafy bobeches support candle cups. Vegetation that you see on a lot of Chinese Chippendale pieces and more leafy scrolling make up the bottom portion. These are matching right and left sconces with a white makers mark label with red writing that reads: Chelsea House, Gastonia, N. Ball point pen writing below this is an inventory mark: NC, R, 467. The bodies are made of very hard ceramic resin with metal arms and ceramic and metal candle cups. The very tip one of the pagoda tops has been broken off and has a very clean repair that you really have to look for to see. Dimensions: 31″H X 15″W X 7D. You’ll have to forgive me for the dirty mirrors that show up in these photos.
