Wall Candle Holders

TWO BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE / VINTAGE HEAVY BRASS / GILT WALL CANDLE SCONCES / HOLDERS / CANDLESTICKS. These two beautiful candle sconces are made from heavy solid brass with an antiqued gilt finish. They are of excellent quality and have some age, although I have been unable to date them accurately. They are of an elaborate French or Italian style. Elaborately embossed wall plates with scrolled lines, fruits and foliage, and deeply scalloped edges. The impressive candle sticks / holders have similarly embossed decorations. There is an integral hanging bracket on reverse, which allows fixing with a single screw. Approximate size of each: 24 cms high (9.5″) x 14 cms wide (5.5″). Projection from wall: 13 cms (5). Each wall sconce weighs around 1.2 kg. Please have a look at my other items.
