Antique French Brass Wall Mount Candle Holders by Adolphe Pequet Late 19 C Expandle Wall Mounts. Wow, very nice set of antique brass candle wall sconces. The candle sconces are quite eye catching. Would make a great gift for a special occasion, or keep them for yourself! The detailing on the brackets, and body of the candle holders is very well done. The candle holders were made by Adolphe Pequet in the late 19th century. We see no missing pieces, or cracks/repairs to them. There is some minor finish loss to the brass finish. The maker’s mark are on the inside of the brackets that mount to the wall. These were some finally made pieces. We did not attempt to clean the metal. We only wipe the product down to prepare it for photographing. Some folks like items with a patina, other folks like to clean them up to look like new. By leaving them as is, that leaves the presentation condition for the new owner to decide. The candle sconces are each 5.25″ tall, by 5.5″ across compressed, by 9-3/8 across fully extended.
